Theology on Tap Ice Cream Social

From Paolo De Urquidi: Miss the Theology on Tap crew?  Come get ice cream with us on Tuesday, August 22nd at Gelati Celesti on Grove!  End the summer with a tasty treat and some good, quality fellowship.  We'll start around 6:00pm, so swing by when you can!

VCU Young Adult Graduate Student Group
Are you a graduate student at VCU and looking for a community to grow in faith and friendship with while in the midst of school? We invite you to join the Catholic Graduate Student Organization at VCU (CGSO). We are a group that aims to serve as a spiritual home away from home for VCU’s graduate students. We offer opportunities for prayer, worship, Bible Study, fellowship, and lectures on the Catholic faith as it relates to professional life and graduate education. Young Adult Men’s and Women’s Focus Groups
Join Catholic young adults from various parishes at St. Benedict’s (300 N. Sheppard St. Richmond, VA 23221) for Men’s and Women’s focus groups! 
Men's Group
Join the St. Benedict's Men's Group in 2023 as we follow and discuss Fr. Mike Schmitz's "Catechism in a Year" podcast!  The men plan to meet next at 6:30pm on Thrusday, August 17th.
Women's Group
             This summer, the women intend to meet at 6:30pm on Thursday, August 17th.

Monthly Adoration & Arianna's - St. Benedict's
Please join for Adoration and Arianna's in August (date presently unknown)!  Adoration starts at 6:00pm (after 5:30pm Mass) at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church (300 N. Sheppard St. Richmond, VA 23221).  Confession will be available during adoration from 6:00pm - 7:00pm.  After prayer, a group of young adults will gather outside and walk to Arianna's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria (700 N Sheppard St, Richmond, VA, 23221) for dinner and fellowship!  Even if you can only make one or the other (prayer or the dinner), all are more than welcome.  Please contact Ben Fleser ([email protected]) with any questions.  This event repeats each month!

Weekly Young Adult Rosary
Join other young adults at St. Benedict (300 N. Sheppard St. Richmond, VA 23221) to pray the rosary each Tuesday at 6:15pm!  Weather-permitting, the group typically gathers outside by the Mary statue, which is on the side of the church facing the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA).
Bring intentions, and if the rosary is new for you, no worries.  Just be open!

Upcoming Retreats
Young Adult Fall Retreat
This event requires official registration via the Office for Evangelization website.
We all need to take time to rest, retreat from the world, and recharge. This fall, young adults (ages 18-39) from across the Diocese of Richmond have an opportunity for a spiritual weekend retreat in a relaxing beach environment. The retreat will include a combination of keynote sessions and personal reflection times, and a priest will be available throughout the weekend for Mass, Reconciliation, and Eucharistic Adoration. There will also be ample opportunities for prayer, fellowship, and downtime. Lean into our 2023 theme of “Courage, Dear Heart”, finding both comfort and strength in Jesus’s true presence in our hearts and in the world!
