Volunteers will visit the Catholic residents to administer Holy Communion weekly (commitment is approximately an hour and a half, once a month). A diocesan background check is required for extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion to the sick. Other volunteer duties include helping with the Sunday evening bingo and the annual Christmas Party.

Two extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion to the sick bring Communion to the members of the Catholic community at Crump Manor and the Elizabeth House, once a week. Communion services are held on the first and third Thursdays of the month, and quarterly Masses are available to the residents.
