The AOH is America’s oldest Irish Catholic Fraternal Organization. The Major James Dooley Division of the AOH has been active in the Richmond area for over 43 years. Our Motto is Friendship, Unity and Christian Charity.
The AOH and the Ladies AOH will be available to discuss membership and accept applications after each Mass on February 19th and 20th, 2022. For more information, please contact Dan Caffrey at 804-512-6288 or kkcaffrey@hotmail.com. You can also visit our website, www.aohrichmond.org, to learn more!
The Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) & Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians (LAOH) will be selling raffle tickets after Masses on February 19 and 20, 2022 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church. The cost is $10 per ticket or $45 for 5 tickets to be entered into a drawing for a $5,000 cash prize--enough to be used for a “Trip for 2 to Ireland” or any other purpose you prayerfully discern.
For each ticket you purchase, approximately 50% of the sale will support Catholic Education and Formation at St. Michael's. In 2021, this annual raffle raised $1,000 to enable the passage of our faith, and over the last 19 years, the AOH & LAOH have donated over $11,000 in raffle proceeds to St. Michael’s and $69,500 total to St. Michael's and other Catholic churches and schools in the Richmond area.
The winning ticket for the $5,000 raffle cash prize will be drawn on March 27th, 2022 at 5:30 pm at the Church Hill Irish Festival. You don’t need to be present to win!
