Sacramental Preparation
First Reconciliation and First Eucharist (grade 3)
Preparation for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist is a joint process for third graders and their parents. "In the Lord's Peace" and "Around the Lord's Table" are the programs used, because they recognize and build on the fact that the primary people to prepare children for these sacraments should be their parents. Children attend the preparation sessions with a catechist while parents attend adult education sessions with the pastor. These sessions are IN ADDITION TO THE REGULAR RELIGIOUS EDUCATION PROGRAM (CLASSROOM OR F.I.R.E.) and require a separate registration.

Confirmation - Confirmation Registration Form

Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation is a two-year process which begins in the 10th grade and ends with the celebration of the Sacrament in the spring of the 11th grade. Participants must have been attending religious education prior to registering for this sacrament. Preparation includes classes, outreach projects, and retreat experiences. In the 11th grade, each confirmand has a sponsor to assist in the final months of preparation. Registration is required by August prior to the entry into the 10th grade. Classes are held on Sunday evenings from 6:45pm-8:45pm.

High School Seniors

The Office of Campus and Young Adult Ministry is asking for your address. Why, you ask? If you are attending a college or university in Virginia, the information will be forwarded to campus ministers who will welcome you to the campus and let you know what opportunities there may be for you.

However, if you are entering the work force and remaining in the area, your name will be forwarded to regional young adult committees. These groups will welcome you to their activities.

Please return this form to the Office of Campus and Young Adult Ministry at the above address at your earliest convenience. We you very much for your assistance.
