Meals Ministry

The focus of the St. Michael Meals Ministry is the preparation and delivery of evening meals to members of the St. Michael community in times of family crisis or medical emergency. Our goal is to identify one hundred Michaelonians who are willing to commit to one day per year to prepare and deliver a generous, hearty, nutritious meal for four adults. Each volunteer will be called to help on one weekday but never on Thanksgiving or Christmas.

It is our hope that by asking each volunteer to provide only one meal per year, we can satisfy what has become a growing need in our parish without placing an undue burden on anyone.

Pat Omberg, the coordinator of this ministry, has designed a system that allows volunteers a great deal of flexibility as to when they will be called on to provide a meal. Pat can be reached by phone at 672-2112 or by email at omberg@comcast.net.
