Comfort Zone Camp - Bereavement Ministry Partner

Comfort Zone Camp, located here in Richmond, welcomes children ages 7 to 17 from across the country who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling or primary care giver. At Comfort Zone Camp kids have the opportunity to meet other kids who have also experienced a loss when they are actually going through the grieving process instead of waiting 5, 10 or even 20 years to start working on healing. Comfort Zone breaks the isolation of these kids and lets them drink in the message, "I am not alone."

Comfort Zone Camp, which is offered free of charge, provides a fun and safe environment where kids can have fun, be around people who "get it" and get back to being kids again.

An excellent article about Comfort Zone Camp appeared in Richmond Magazine. Here is a link to that article: http://www.comfortzonecamp.org/news/200603_Richmond_Magazine.pdf.

For more information, go to the Comfort Zone Camp web site located at www.comfortzonecamp.org or call toll free at 866-488-5679.

Comfort Zone Camp is always in need of volunteers. If you are interested in participating in the important work of this fine organization, please call the toll free number listed above or visit www.comfortzonecamp.org/OurPeople.asp.
