Rosary Making and RepairRosary Making and Repair
There is a great demand for rosaries. St. Michael's has a requirement for up to 400 rosaries each year for children in the First Communion program, teens in the Confirmation program and for participants in Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP) retreats.
In addition, missionaries throughout the world, including those in India, Africa and the Philippines, are always in need of rosaries.
To meet this need, the St. Michael Rosary Ministry meets once a month for two hours to make rosaries and enjoy one another's company. Meetings are held on the 2nd Sunday of the month from 12.30 till 2.30 in room 200. Training and materials are provided.
This ministry also repairs rosaries for parishioners who have damaged rosaries. You can bring your damaged rosary to room 200 at 12.30 on the 2nd Sunday of the month and pick it up at 12.30 on the second Sunday of the following month. Parishioners may also drop off rosaries needing repair at the parish office. Please place damaged rosaries in an envelope addressed to Lani Vasquez. Please remember to place your name and telephone number inside the envelope.
