Dear fellow St. Michael parishioners:
I would like to thank longtime parishioner Helen Nelligan for all the time and energy she has spent over the last six years as our Homebound Ministry Coordinator. Helen always seems to know what is needed to be done. She has visited countless homebound parishioners and has kept Fr. Dan and the our Pastoral Care team informed of their conditions and whereabouts. Helen brings comfort to those in need and has the gift of helping those who are going through a tough time. She has been such a joy to work with, and it has been a pleasure to get to know her as a friend. I know I speak for so many when I say, "Helen, you will be missed, and all of us here at St. Michael and Pastoral Care are better people, because of your service to God's people. God's grace to you moving forward. Thank you for being a bright light in the world."

If you or anyone in your household is homebound for any reason and is unable to come to church, the Homebound Ministry is here to keep you connected to the larger St Michael community. Whether you are recuperating from surgery, medical problems, or are temporarily or permanently unable to come to church, the Homebound Ministry's extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion to the sick are available to bring Communion to you.
If someone you know is homebound, if you have questions about this ministry, or if you would like to become a volunteer, please contact Sheila Mallette, our new Coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
