Meals on Wheels
St. Michael contact: Larry Gidley, 360-5429 Email: email@example.com
St. Michael's volunteers deliver meals to those in need one weekday per month.
Volunteer selects day of the week and week of the month to establish a monthly routine.
If for some reason you must miss one month, such as vacation or illness, substitutes are available. Time, depending on route, is a mid-day commitment of approximately 3 hours from residence/office and back. Volunteer, either driver or driver and partner, selects a route that is repeated each month and quickly develop familiarity with directions and clients.
Meals are customized to accommodate individual client health needs and preferences.
Clients also benefit from the safety check and interaction that accompany each visit.
MOW is a well run organization performing a basic service for many deserving clients in the Richmond metropolitan area.
Contact Larry for answers to questions and if interested to schedule an orientation.
The need for additional volunteers continues to increase.

Excerpts from Matthew, Chapter 25, The Judgment of the Nations: “For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, ill and you cared for me. Whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me”.
