St. Michael's Music Ministry depends on the volunteer efforts of people like you to continue to offer the very best in musical quality and ministry. There are many opportunities for all Michaelonians to take part in some aspect of this vibrant ministry. If joining one of the many ensembles and groups isn't for you, please keep in mind that your voice, the voice of the assembly at liturgy, is the primary voice in worship. We believe there is no more beautiful voice than that of the assembly. The full and active participation of the community at worship is not an ideal; it is a mandate. Who can keep us from singing? There is something here for everyone, from children to adults, singers to instrumentalists. There are even opportunities for those of you who have a talent for the more technical side of liturgy.

We are always welcoming new members to the choirs. We are in need of talented instrumentalists, especially for our rhythm section. Guitarists, bassists and drummers are always welcome to come to rehearsals and check us out.

Sometimes in the liturgy, we go up to the attic and dust off some of our ancestors' beautiful furnishings and pieces of art that will accent an existing space in our homes. We bring these rediscovered treasures down into the places where we live and place them into a new context, revitalizing both.
