Grade 1-5 Elementary
Families with children in grades 1-5 will be given the option of a 75-minute classroom faith formation program or home school faith formation using the Pflaum “Gospel Weeklies”. The Gospel Weeklies introduce the weekly Gospel reading so it will be a great way make the reading familiar to the children before Mass each week. Parents with children enrolled in the classroom option. are encouraged to join their children in the Parish Hall for a brief presentation and Gospel sharing before children move to classrooms with a volunteer catechist.
Families that are new to the home school option are invited to attend a Parent Orientation on Wednesday, September 3rd at 7:00pm. At this meeting, you will receive your first installment of Gospel Weeklies and will learn how to use the curriculum, hear helpful tips for success, learn the procedure for receiving new curriculum and expectations for evaluations. If your family is returning to home school, you may come by this session to receive your first installment of curriculum or stop by the table in the Commons after each mass on September 13/14th weekend.
