I was born and raised in Connecticut and graduated from Springfield College in Springfield, MA. I received all of my sacraments at the Church of the Assumption in Westport, CT and actually found my husband there too! We were both very involved with the music ministry and youth group at Assumption Church, and Emmaus retreats. We were married in 1991 and relocated to Richmond from Connecticut ten years ago. We immediately joined St. Michael. My husband is one of the guitarists with the music ministry. We have been blessed with three wonderful children. I was a catechist at St. Mike's for 5 years and thoroughly enjoyed being a stay at home Mom until the position of Elementary Faith Formation Coordinator came open. This is my second year in this position and I love it! I feel very blessed to have this opportunity to work with the children of St. Mike's and so many wonderful people who give their time and energy to these children as teachers. When I'm not at St. Mike's I am shuttling my children to their various activities, helping with homework and trying to find quiet moments with each of my kids and husband. Whenever I can steal away a few moments to myself, it's usually spent reading, scrapbooking or catching up with friends.
