I am a native of Cleveland, Ohio who transplanted to Richmond four and one-half years ago primarily as I was tired of the long, dark days and nearly six months of winter. My southern connection is my mom who was born in Columbia, S.C. I have two grown sons; Mike and Drew. Mike has been married to Meghan for two years and they both work for the Virginian Pilot in Norfolk. Drew currently resides in Cleveland after several months living in Chicago.
I joined St. Michael's in December of 2003 and was immediately impressed with its warmth, welcoming manner and volunteer opportunities for newcomers. I have been a catechist for three years and really enjoy sharing my faith with the fourth graders; truly a position where one learns as well as teaches. Previously, I worked many years for independent schools in Ohio which was great training for my current position. I feel very privileged to be a part of the St. Michael family.
