Born September 29, 1972 in Boston, Massachusetts, Beth spent her childhood in parochial schools and graduated from Providence College in 1994 with a degree in biology and health policy and management. Influenced by her own diagnosis of insulin-dependent diabetes at age nine, Beth has spent most of her professional career working for the American Diabetes Association in Washington, DC before a three year stint with a management consulting firm and then a decision to stay home and raise her kids full-time.
Beth married her husband Kevin in 1999 and, with their three girls, Abigail, Caroline and Catie, have made Glen Allen and St. Michael's their home since 2004. Beth and Kevin have both been catechists in the faith formation program. Currently, Beth is the Co-Director of our Vacation Bible School ministry and especially enjoys the unique opportunities this ministry offers. To be in a room with hundreds of kids dancing and singing praise to God with unbridled joy is truly a uniquely moving experience. Beth also has been involved with Caritas, serving meals at the Conrad Center, and frequently volunteers at her children's schools.
